The yellow one makes you do the body slam thing, the green is the original, the red shoots fire, and I think there was a blue one but I can’t remember what he does.

The blue one flys, theres no purple.

Yellow, Slam…
Blue, Flying…
However, the blue Yoshi does look quite ‘purpley’, and can be mistaken for the blue Yoshi.
The one your refering to is blue.
Red one always shoots Fire
Blue – Flies
Yellow – Stomp Attack
Green No special.
To get Blue Yoshi Theres one of the levels on Cheese Bridge Area. At about the Halfway point theres a ? block that contains a pair of wings. Just take a Green Yoshi and jump into the Wings and you’ll have a Blue Yoshi.
The other way is to access Star Road, theres a Yoshi of every color on each level (except Green)
