How do you Copy Wii Save Data on Games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario and S. at the Olympic Games?

J.S. asked:

I need to move all my save files from the one I’ve been using for a long time to a new Wii. Most games have copied; but How do you Copy Wii Save Data on Games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games? It simply says “this file cannot be copied” when I try to put it to an SD Card.

I have heard that it has a problem with Wi-Fi double data or something like that- but I have not loaded Wi-Fi on either Game so they should be working. I heard about a program called WIIBREW- but how does it work and is it safe? My technology skills aren’t too good so if someone could explain it simply it would be very helpful.

Thanks.

put all the saved data onto an SD card and transfer it to the new wii, you can transfer the save data in the setup section

Any game that is Wi-Fi enabled can’t be copied to an SD card. Even if you never went online. Don’t try to do anything like Wiibrew or whatever the hell they call it because you will mess up your Wii and Nintendo will not care.
