Back in the good ol nintendo days, a Mushroom would make him stronger or give him health. Why don’t you see mushrooms in the N64, Gamecube, or Wii games?

I like to cook mushrooms with ramen noodles now. I might have that for dinner.

NO! because he got mushroom poisoning from the past games..ha
There are green 1-up mushrooms in Mario 64. There are mushrooms in Super Mario Glalxy as well they give you special powes though.
Super Mario 64: One up mushrooms were available, that’s about it. Regular mushrooms were replaced with coins for health.
Super Mario Sunshine (gamecube): There are One up Mushrooms available. Like Mario 64: coins replaced mushrooms for restoring health
Luigi’s mansion (gamecube): there were poisonous mushrooms that would make your small and lose some of your coins. health was replenished by hearts.
Super Mario Galaxy (wii): One up mushrooms were available as well as some special mushrooms that would give you special powers such as becoming a bee, a boo, a spring, or you could double your life energy for a time. health was replenished by coins.
New Super mario Bros. (DS): All mushrooms you’re use to were available on here. it’s a classic styled mario game along with two new mushrooms: Mega and Mini. Mega Mushrooms made you extremely large and you could destroy anything in your path. Mini mushrooms let you get in special areas you couldn’t before. Needed to get to certain worlds.
Mario party 5-8 (Gamecube and Wii): Mushrooms would effects what you did on the playing board. Mega Mushrooms would let you crush other players making them lose coins and mini mushrooms would let you into special pipes and mini games.
So technically: he still does. but different purposes in each game. they aren’t going to just throw out his favorite treat! =P
